AC Milan to continue Mother's Day shirt tradition against Atalanta - the details
"A portion of the proceeds from tickets purchased for museum visits on the day of AC Milan v Atalanta - both online and at the Casa Milan box office - will go towards supporting Fondazione Milan's projects. To mark the occasion, Banco BPM - the official bank of Milan, women's team shirt sponsor and match sponsor of AC Milan vs. Atalanta - will set up a stand outside San Siro in collaboration with AIRC (Italian Association for Cancer Research), where fans will be able to support oncological research through a donation."
AC Milan will continue a Mother’s Day tradition for the third consecutive year by having players wear their mothers’ maiden names on the backs of their shirts. On Sunday 10 May, the men’s first team will do so in AC Milan vs. Atalanta at San Siro, and the women’s first team will do so in AC Milan Women vs. Parma at the PUMA House of Football. The initiative will also appear during official line-up announcements, with Milan Futuro and the men’s Primavera squad involved, and U8 teams accompanied by their mothers before kick-off. The Mondo Milan Museum will participate, with proceeds from tickets supporting Fondazione Milan projects. Banco BPM will run a donation stand with AIRC to support oncological research.
