Ikarus has been awarded a contract to supply 150 electric buses in North Macedonia, marking its largest procurement of electric buses. The contract includes 75 charging stations and was won by Electrobus Europe Ltd., a partnership between Ikarus and CRRC. Of the 150 buses, 100 will be allocated to Skopje, while 50 will serve other cities. This initiative introduces electric buses into urban networks and reinforces Ikarus's position in the Central and South-Eastern European electric vehicle market.
