Arriva Group is deploying FlowOS Live, an AI platform developed with Prospective Labs, across London bus control rooms with full implementation expected by 2026. The platform uses GPS data and vehicle telematics to create a live digital model of each route and simulates thousands of operating scenarios per second to produce control instructions that regulate headways and mitigate congestion or disruption. The system can adjust departure times, manage driver and vehicle changeovers, maintain even intervals between buses, and automate routine administrative and reporting tasks, enabling controllers to focus on service performance and supporting fleet electrification goals.
