Meta plans to add a large corpus of AI-generated and remixed content into its recommendation systems as AI makes content creation easier. Recommendation algorithms that deeply understand AI-generated posts and show users the right content are expected to become increasingly valuable. Meta has begun embedding AI tools across its apps and is experimenting with dedicated AI social applications. The Vibes app produced over 20 billion generated images and serves a feed of AI-generated videos similar to OpenAI's Sora. Meta reported $51.24 billion in quarterly revenue, up 26% year over year, and recorded a one-time $15.93 billion tax charge linked to the Big Beautiful Bill.
