Several Van Gogh exhibitions are scheduled for 2026 across Japan and the Netherlands. The Van Gogh Museum will conclude a tour at the Aichi Prefectural Museum of Art in Nagoya (3 January–23 March), showing 24 Van Gogh paintings and five drawings from the artist's family collection donated in 1973. An Amsterdam exhibition (13 February–17 May) will center on the artist's January 1889 work and assemble around ten Van Gogh paintings alongside works by other artists to examine the influence of the colour yellow. A Kröller-Müller touring exhibition includes 37 Van Goghs and 20 drawings, visiting Kobe, Fukushima, and Tokyo. The Kröller-Müller holds the world's second-largest Van Gogh collection, with many works frequently on loan.
