The 61st Venice Biennale will run from 9 May to 22 November 2026 across the Giardini, Arsenale and multiple venues in Venice. The main exhibition will follow the curatorial plan set out by the late Koyo Kouoh. Numerous countries have named artists and organisers for their national pavilions. Announced participants include Khaled Sabsabi for Australia; Florentina Holzinger for Austria; John Beadle and Lavar Munroe for the Bahamas; Miet Warlop for Belgium; Rosana Paulino and Adriana Varejão for Brazil; Abbas Akhavan for Canada; Marina Xenofontos for Cyprus; and Jakub Jansa with Selmeci Kocka Jusko for Czech Republic and Slovakia.
