Barcelona ghost stations: TMB centenary tours
"The centenary event goes beyond just the abandoned platforms. TMB is opening up eight emblematic spaces that are usually off-limits. Visitors can also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Metro control centre, the driving simulator room, and technical workshops at ZAL del Port and Santa Eulàlia. The tour also includes the Mercat Nou electrical sub-station and the historic spiral staircase at Urquinaona station."
"Registration is free and will open on Tuesday september 9, at 10:00 AM, giving everyone a fair chance to secure a spot. The very first tours will take place during the weekend of September 13 and 14, coinciding with European Mobility Week, offering a special context for the event. While most spaces can be visited during this period, the eagerly anticipated tours of the Correus and Gaudí ghost stations are scheduled for October and November."
