As the Tour de France approaches, Tadej Pogačar and other main contenders are finalizing their preparations at altitude camps. Pogačar returns to Isola 2000, where he aims to improve his time trial skills after winning the Critérium du Dauphiné. Meanwhile, rivals Jonas Vingegaard, Remco Evenepoel, and Primož Roglič are training in Tignes, seeking to enhance their performance. Vingegaard acknowledges Pogačar's status as the favorite but remains focused on his own training, indicating a competitive spirit as the grand tour approaches.
After his victory, Pogačar said he would be sharpening up on the one weakness from his eight days of racing. "We go to altitude camp at Isola 2000, then three days home, and to the Tour. There's basically not too much to do..."
Jonas Vingegaard is aware he'll start as second favourite for the Tour, but he stated, "Tadej is the biggest favourite [for the Tour]. We only focus on ourselves. We focus on our process to be as good as possible in the Tour..."
