Thymen Arensman achieved a solo victory on the challenging uphill finish of Superbagnères, marking a significant win for Ineos Grenadiers. He outlasted Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard, who battled their way through the remnants of breakaway and chase groups. Pogačar and Vingegaard were unable to shake each other off in their fight for the yellow jersey, concluding the stage together with Pogačar taking second place and securing important bonus seconds. British rider Oscar Onley finished over one minute behind, being the strongest among the remaining competitors.
