Vincent Tupin, a French freerider, attempts a record-breaking 25-meter cliff drop, trying to push the limits of mountain biking. After a year of poor conditions and setbacks, he confidently returns to make this historic jump. The project highlights the importance of preparation and teamwork. Despite the extreme challenge of this jump, Tupin emphasizes the significance of mental readiness. He reflects on the singular nature of such jumps, recognizing the physical impact and the level of commitment required.
This incredible journey took over a year, with his first attempt being marred by wind and poor conditions, as other events took priority. However, the desire to open a new door for freeride was still at the back of Vincent's mind, and after a year of contemplation, the team returned to accomplish the seemingly impossible.
Did you consider doing the jump again? New wheel, new attempt? No. You can't take an impact like that twice. It was just too much.
As long as I didn't feel it, there was no jump. But when that click happens, it's go-time. No br.
