Boston celebrated Halloween with a range of locally inspired costumes and community events. MBTA staff rode the T handing out candy and stickers, appearing as Wizard of Oz characters, a pirate, and Pari Kim as a "T princess." Mayor Michelle Wu shared photos of MBTA fans at City Hall trick-or-treat. The New England Patriots solicited fans' best Patriots costumes while Celtics star Jayson Tatum visited Boston Children's Hospital and encountered a spooky surprise. Boston police joined neighborhood trunk-or-treat events and reported seasonal patrols. Several children donned fast-food themed costumes, including a McDonald's-inspired outfit and twin "DunKings."
