An 18-year-old man has been charged in connection with shootings at two synagogues in Toronto and Vaughan. On March 6, gunshots were reported at the Beth Avraham Yoseph of Toronto synagogue, causing damage but no injuries. The following day, shots were fired at the Shaarei Shomayim synagogue, also resulting in damage without injuries. The suspect, who was 17 at the time, is not being identified due to his age and has been charged with several firearm-related offenses. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 20.
