
"Some parts of the Lakeshore West GO train will be out of service for planned repair work until early Tuesday morning. Construction work is being done to replace the Etobicoke Creek bridge and it cannot be done while service is running, Metrolinx said in a release on Sunday. Metrolinx said the work, originally scheduled for weekends in October, was postponed to accommodate travel to the World Series games, before starting on Sunday."
"As the construction continues into Monday, special trains will go between Mimico GO and Union station on a 30-minute schedule, Metrolinx said and buses will run between Oakville and Clarkson GO to Erindale or Bramalea GO. Extra trips on the Milton line have also been added for Monday, according to Metrolinx. Regular GO service is expected to resume around 6 a.m on Tuesday."
