Ford's recall problem keeps getting worse-and this one could start fires
Briefly

In 2025, Ford faces unprecedented safety recalls, surpassing previous records, prompting concerns over its reliability. A total of 694,271 crossover SUVs are being recalled due to a fuel leak risk that could trigger fires. The recalled models include the 2021-2024 Bronco Sport and 2020-2022 Escape with 1.5 liter engines. This recall follows a year-long investigation and is expected to cost Ford approximately $570 million. Additional recalls were also issued earlier in response to concerns over low-pressure fuel pumps that could lead to vehicle stalling.
