Mercedes is developing a new all-electric model from AMG, the production version of the AMG GT XX concept, designed to compete with the Porsche Taycan. The model features up to three axial flux motors, producing over 1,000 horsepower. During a passenger ride, the focus was on the simulated V8 engine sounds that enhance the driving experience. This includes vibrations from the seats, mimicking a big V8 engine's feel during acceleration. The integration of sound and vibration represents a significant improvement in EV sound designs, moving beyond traditional synthetic sounds.
