"Eddie Vedder forgot to censor himself while being interviewed in the stands during the broadcast of the Chicago Cubs game on Saturday (September 13th), dropping an F-bomb in live TV. The Pearl Jam singer was sitting in the bleachers with Cindy Crawford and retired Cubs great Anthony Rizzo, who was being honored at the game. Vedder, Crawford, and Rizzo led the crowd in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" during the 7th inning stretch, and afterward were interviewed by Elise Menaker of Marquee Sports Network."
"Menaker first asked the grunge great what it was like to sit with Rizzo in the stands, and a seemingly tipsy Vedder (who appeared to have a beer in hand), said, "I never got to sit with my favorite player in the bleachers [before]." She then asked the rocker about singing with Rizzo and Crawford during the 7th inning stretch, to which he answered, "Oh, I was terrified." When pressed to explain why he was terrified, Vedder added, "Because I didn't want them to fuck up," alluding to Rizzo and Crawford, who both cracked up."
