Diana Tarakanova Diaz is a tattoo artist from Ukraine, passionate about creativity since childhood. After attending various art institutions, she discovered tattooing at 17, learning through YouTube and practicing on pig skin. Her friends encouraged her tattooing journey, making it both her artistic outlet and a means of financial support. Now located in Chicago after tattooing in 14 U.S. states, she is preparing to open her first studio there.
I started when I was 17. I learnt by watching YouTube videos and practised on pig skin. I had a lot of friends who were excited to get tattooed.
Tattooing became both my artistic outlet and my livelihood. Since then, I've tattooed in 14 different U.S. states and I'm now based in Chicago.
