Jaden Fauske, an 18-year-old from Willowbrook and a lifelong Chicago White Sox fan, was drafted by the team in the second round of the 2025 MLB draft. Fauske frequently attended Sox games as a child, where memorable moments occurred, including being a bat boy and receiving a baseball from Bobby Jenks. As a senior, he was named Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year for hitting .461 with 29 stolen bases. Sox director of amateur scouting Mike Shirley praised Fauske’s maturity and ability to apply his batting practice approach effectively in games.
I've got a bunch of pictures of it somewhere. I was on the field before the game. I got a few autographed balls.
To see that materialize, it means everything. It means the world to me.
If you go watch him, the approach in (batting practice), (he) stays on balls the other way.
The maturity level, his approach and how he actually applies it to the game is one thing.
