Borna Park - Work and Living Community / Malte Kloes Architekten
"At Borna-Park, life and work are intimately intertwined with the landscape."
"The site is surrounded by meadows, open fields, and the tree-lined Pfaffneren River."
"Nature provides more than a mere backdrop; it becomes the identity of the residential and working community."
Borna-Park places daily life and work in direct relationship with the surrounding landscape. The site sits among meadows, open fields, and the tree-lined Pfaffneren River. Natural elements shape spatial organization, views, and communal character. Buildings and outdoor spaces respond to topography and ecological features to support mixed-use living and working patterns. Landscape becomes a primary design driver, informing access, recreation, and the sense of place. The project frames nature as a constitutive element rather than decoration, anchoring social and functional activities in ecological context and rural scenery.
