Restaurateur Keith McNally on 'rude' Patti Smith, his two strokes, and Sally Rooney: 'One of the best contemporary writers in the world'
Briefly

Keith McNally views Instagram as a platform filled with self-deception, wherein few acknowledge their imperfections. He joined Instagram to challenge those showcasing unrealistic lives. Previously, he enjoyed adding witty captions to postcards, and using Instagram became an extension of that creativity. Additionally, after suffering a stroke that impacted his speech, Instagram provided a new outlet for him, allowing him to express himself when his verbal communication was significantly hindered.
