Tia and Tamera's HomeGoods Collab Feels Like Christmas for Millennial Decor Lovers
"HomeGoods has pulled out all of the stops for its third annual "Deck the Everything Day," a celebratory day that falls on November 1 each year and is dedicated to the early holiday decorators among us. That's because the brand is partnering with the beloved Hollywood duo, Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley, of the iconic '90s sitcom Sister, Sister, on a fun campaign designed to help shoppers discover their festive alter egos - what the brand is calling their inner "HomeGoods Holiday Carol.""
"As it turns out, the whole basis for this "holiday" comes from HomeGoods' own proprietary research. According to a survey conducted by the brand, 63% of respondents think early decorating comes with judgment, which is up 13% year over year. That said, 45% of people polled actually would start decorating even earlier, if they could. And that's where HomeGoods comes in. They've tapped the twins to help them home in on a bunch of holiday decorating styles,"
HomeGoods celebrates its third annual Deck the Everything Day on November 1 and partners with Tia Mowry and Tamera Mowry-Housley to promote early holiday decorating. Proprietary research found 63% of respondents feel early decorating attracts judgment while 45% would decorate earlier if able. The campaign identifies holiday decorating personalities called HomeGoods Holiday Carols and curates products for each style. Noted Carol styles include Evergreen Icon, Golden Glam, Winter Whimsy, and Pretty in Pinkmas. Tia favors Winter Whimsy with blues, whites, and snow-kissed decor, while Tamera prefers the traditional Evergreen Icon. The campaign makes curated shopping aligned to individual design POVs available.
