"Alameda, CA - Temple Israel of Alameda invites the community to join in the observance of the Jewish High Holy Days, a sacred season of reflection, renewal, and hope. Services are held at Temple Israel (3183 Mecartney Road, Alameda) and are free to attend either in-person or online; advance registration is required. Services will be led by Rabbi Zoe McCoon with beautiful music led by Soloist, Nathan Savant."

Temple Israel of Alameda will host High Holy Day services at 3183 Mecartney Road, Alameda, offering both in-person and online attendance with free admission and required advance registration. Rabbi Zoe McCoon will lead services accompanied by Soloist Nathan Savant. Youth programming will be led by Dr. Jenn Levine and early childhood services by Kellie Shoham. Service highlights include Selichot, Erev Rosh Hashanah, Rosh Hashanah with Tashlich and Youth Service, Kol Nidre, and an extended Yom Kippur schedule with social justice presentation, study circle, Yizkor, Neilah, and Break-the-Fast. Parking is free; child care is available for select services for registered guests and members. Donations are appreciated. Temple Israel will celebrate its 105th anniversary in 2025.
