He emphasizes the need for global collaboration on ocean preservation and topical international issues like the Middle East and Ukraine.
As an island nation, Ireland is keenly aware of the importance of the marine environment and the other roles our waters play, including as a vital trade route.
The EU Ocean Pact aims to better protect the oceans through restoring degraded habitats and strengthening maritime economy, security, defense, and diplomacy.
