Voltrac has developed a versatile electric tractor designed for agricultural use but also capable of military support. Weighing 3.5 tonnes, it effectively transports heavy goods on farms while performing critical resupply missions on the battlefield. Its carrying capacity is 4,000kg with a speed of 40km/h and a battery range of 20 hours. Features can be adapted for military use with minimal modifications, and the company is in talks with NATO to enhance its capabilities with technology to protect it during operations.
In Ukraine, for instance, many lives are lost in non-combat situations, including frontline resupply missions. That's where we see a machine like ours making a difference.
Our tractor only needs tiny tweaks to its hardware to easily serve both agriculture and defence markets from the same platform.
