"Barcelona have reportedly already agreed a fee for Dinamo Zagreb teenager Cardoso Varela who has been linked with the club for some time now. A new report from Mundo Deportivo states that Barca already have a potential deal in place for Varela. The club will play €5 million fixed plus €20m in add-ons. Varela is currently with the Croatian side for two seasons but, as things stand, it seems that he is expected to move to Barcelona after that."
"The youngster's agent is Andy Bara, who also represents Dani Olmo, and has a close relationship with Barcelona sporting director Deco. Varela has caught the eye recently with a goal against Malmo in the Europa League, finding the back of the net just minutes after arriving as a substitute. The young star will definitely be worth keeping an eye on this season and next, ahead of a potential move to Catalunya. Barcelona clearly seem to be big fans of the 17-year-old Portuguese winger and are hoping to bring him to the club in the future."
