Edin Terzic has been appointed as the head coach of Athletic Club for the next two seasons, following Ernesto Valverde's exit. Valverde announced his departure after four years at the club. Terzic, who previously managed Borussia Dortmund, signed a two-year contract until June 2028. He has a win percentage of 58.9% from his time at Dortmund, where he won the DFB-Pokal and narrowly missed the Bundesliga title. Athletic Club is currently eighth in LaLiga with four matches remaining.
