The lineup includes Jordan Peele's Us on Oct. 1, which contains multiple scenes shot around Santa Cruz such as East Cliff Drive, Main Beach and the Boardwalk. The Oct. 8 screening is 1996's Scream, a Wes Craven slasher that revived the horror genre and spawned multiple sequels. Oct. 15 will feature A Nightmare on Elm Street, which introduced Freddy Krueger and launched a major horror franchise with several sequels and a 2010 remake.
