Lakefront Brewery in Milwaukee will celebrate National Cheese Curd Day on Wednesday, October 15 from 2pm to 9pm, marking the eighth consecutive year of the event. Lakefront has produced award-winning, beer-battered fried cheese curds since 2013, fulfilling over 60,000 orders annually. The event will feature the brewery's gold-standard curds with garlic ranch, three candidate specialty flavors for potential 2026 Cheese Curd of the Month selections, and a free Cheese Curd Pull Competition. The three candidate flavors include Chicken N' Waffle Curds, French Onion Curds, and Caramel Apple Cheesecake Curds, each paired or served with complementary sauces.
