"Where Death & Co is known for its impressive awards, dimly lit interiors, and dapperly dressed bartenders, Close Company celebrates a more casual, funky approach to the neighborhood bar. Checkered floors and diner-esque elements nod to timeless, Americana dives, albeit reimagined in a modern way, with art curated by Field Trip Art Advisory. David Kaplan is CEO of Gin & Luck and is preparing Close Company Atlanta to open on November 6. Gin & Luck recently introduced the Municipal Grand hotel and its basement lounge The Hot Eye in Savannah, and opened neon-lit Close Company locations in Nashville and Las Vegas. Close Company offers a casual, funky neighborhood bar alternative to Death & Co's formal cocktail rooms. The design nods to Americana diners with checkered floors and curated art. The concept emphasizes spontaneity with a first-come, first-served model and simplified, ingredient-descriptive drink names to keep the experience easy and welcoming.
