Briefly

Miki Sudo won the women's title at the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest by consuming 33 hot dogs in 10 minutes, marking her 11th championship. Michelle Lesco and Domenica Dee placed second and third, respectively. Despite not breaking her previous record of 51 hot dogs, Sudo celebrated her victory and received a $10,000 prize. She has dominated the competition since 2014, missing only the 2021 contest due to pregnancy. The contest is held annually in Coney Island, where Joey Chestnut also reclaimed his men's title.
"The hot dogs were great, the weather's beautiful, the crowd had me going," Sudo told ESPN after her victory. "I'm thinking the buns were more filling than usual. It's OK. A win's a win. Thank you for the support."
Sudo has previously claimed the title every year from 2014 to 2020 and again from 2022 to now. She did not participate in 2021 when she was pregnant.
Sudo's latest win came moments before Joey Chestnut made his return to the men's competition to reclaim his title as top hot dog eater with 70.5 dogs.
Sudo downed 33 hot dogs in just 10 minutes, continuing her undefeated run at the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July International Hot Dog Eating Contest.
