Google introduced new AI capabilities for visual searches, enhancing user experience with Circle to Search and Google Lens. To access Circle to Search in AI Mode, users must long press the home button, then circle or gesture on the desired search item. An AI Overview will provide helpful answers, allowing users to dive deeper and ask follow-up questions. Additionally, Google Lens now fully supports AI Mode in the Google app for Android and iOS, suggesting broader availability in the US and India.

Long press the home button or navigation bar, then circle, tap, or gesture on what you want to search.
When our systems determine an AI response to be most helpful, an AI Overview will appear in your results.
