The Honor Magic V5 foldable smartphone has launched internationally, beginning in Malaysia with a price of MYR 6,999, approximately $1,650. It will later expand to Singapore, Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. Pre-orders in Malaysia come with MYR 3,500 worth of bonuses, including a Bluetooth speaker and rebate offers, available until July 24. The international version of Magic V5 features a 5,820mAh battery, making it slightly less powerful than its Chinese counterpart, while boasting key specifications such as a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and a 64MP periscope camera.
The international Magic V5 features the same specs, but it gets a smaller capacity battery at 5,820mAh - 280mAh less than the Chinese version.
Honor Malaysia is taking pre-orders with MYR 3,500 worth of gifts, including a Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 9 Bluetooth speaker, additional device protection and a MYR 400 instant rebate on top of the existing trade-in program.
Magic V5 is one of the most impressive book-style foldables out now featuring an 8.8mm thin body when folded alongside the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
