"Microsoft is testing a way to change the country and region you are in when doing searches on Bing."
"It seems that Bing has added a new Country/Region selector. You can dismiss it for anywhere from one day to forever."
"This allows you to see how the search results look like in a different country and/or region."
Microsoft is testing a country/region selector for Bing search that permits users to change the country and region when performing searches. The feature mirrors functionality similar to Google, enabling users to preview search results as they appear in other locales. Availability appears limited, with tests not visible in New York on some browsers. A LinkedIn post by Frank Sandtmann documented the feature and included a screenshot. The selector includes an option to dismiss the setting for durations ranging from one day to permanently. The ability to set a region for a specific time period allows temporary or long-term localization tests of search results.
