Nintendo Hikes Switch 2 Price Is US, Canada, Europe and Japan
"Nintendo has announced a price hike for the Nintendo Switch 2, citing impact of changing market conditions. The price of Switch 2 will go up by JPY 10,000 in Japan later this month. Outside Japan, original Switch models keep their existing prices, while Switch 2 increases in the US to $499.99, in Canada to CAD 679.99, and in Europe to EUR 499.99. These revised prices take effect September 1, 2026. Nintendo cited market condition changes expected to persist over the medium to long term.
