The narrative spans 1915 to 1965, beginning in San Francisco and progressing through Kokura, Kure, Minami, Atami, and Shinjuku. Each city features period-accurate aesthetics and distinct visual identity, with Shinjuku including the iconic Kamurocho district from previous Yakuza games. The game features an international cast including Yu Shirota, Dean Fujioka, Snoop Dogg, and others. RGG Studio showcased a new combat system and released an original theme song. The title releases this winter across PC, PS5, and Xbox Series S/X.
