Berlin has opened its first Cooling Point in Mauerpark located in Prenzlauer Berg. This initiative aims to provide a free and accessible outdoor space for residents to cool down and drink water during hot weather. The Cooling Point measures 25 square meters, is barrier-free, and will be operational until mid-October. Plans for 2026 include additional enhancements such as spray mist technology for increased cooling effectiveness.
