Baseball current events could provide inspiration for selections, but the World Series completion is required before that influence appears. The focus is explicitly on identifying the worst logos rather than the best. The scope is not limited to baseball and can include logos from any sport or league. A once-popular repository called LogoServer contained extensive logo archives across leagues, including teams without unique marks. That repository is now offline, removing an easy reference source for logo examples. Consequently, participants are asked to rely on personal memory to nominate and judge the worst logos.
