Archaeologists discovered the tomb of Kim Young, a Tang Dynasty hostage prince from the Silla Kingdom, in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province. The tomb includes an epitaph detailing his biography and is significant as it represents the second known Silla hostage tomb stele. Excavation at the Dongjiang Village site unearthed a medium-sized blue brick chamber tomb, previously looted but containing 83 funerary items. Notable artifacts include clay figurines and animal remains, providing a glimpse into burial practices of the time. A substantial bluestone epitaph also records Kim Young's achievements and lineage.
