MAFS UK's Ella Morgan among stars at London Trans+ Pride launch event
Briefly

The London Trans+ Pride launch featured various celebrities and activists emphasizing the importance of community and resilience in light of political challenges. This year's event theme, Existence and Resistance, responds to recent government actions and judicial decisions impacting gender identity. Activism continues with calls for a ban on conversion therapy, gender-affirming healthcare, and legal acknowledgment for non-binary individuals. The march will commence at The Church of All Souls Langham Place, highlighting unity and love among participants despite obstacles. Last year's event saw unprecedented participation, showcasing widespread support for transgender and non-binary rights.
London Trans+ Pride co-founder Lewis G Burton told the audience: "We are here to remind [one another] that we're not going anywhere, we are loved. These legislative things can come into place but you will not get rid of us. You cannot remove us from society."
Bergdorf reflected on what London Trans+ Pride meant to her, saying: "What I love so much about [it is] I arrive feeling stressed and leave feeling galvanised and seen and loved and held."
