Liverpool are closing in on a deal to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace after the South London side authorised a move in the final hours of transfer deadline day. Eagles boss Oliver Glasner made it clear in his press conference last week that he did not want to lose his captain, but chairman Steve Parish seems to have gone over his head at the last minute. Reports suggest Guehi is currently undergoing his medical in London, with the aim of completing a deal before the 7pm deadline in the UK.
