'He Facetimed me' - Walker's delight at Kompany and Kane's title win
Briefly

In a recent episode of The Kyle Walker Podcast, former England defender Kyle Walker shared an amusing moment when Vincent Kompany called him to celebrate Bayern Munich's Bundesliga title win. Walker highlighted Harry Kane being present, celebrating with a beer and underscoring the significance of Kane's first professional trophy. He remarked that this victory lifted a considerable burden off Kane, as the striker previously faced criticism for lacking trophies despite his accomplishments at national and club levels. Walker expressed that Kane truly deserved this recognition and relief.
Me and Vinny are obviously still really good friends and he does FaceTime me probably once a month. And he FaceTimed me after the win.
Harry was there with a pint of beer in his hand, which I was very, very impressed with. To go there last season and not win it, and get beaten by a Leverkusen team that was very, very good, was probably a kick in the teeth for him.
For him to then finally get a trophy, I think it's definitely more than deserved. At least no-one can start saying that anymore, that Harry Kane's not got a trophy.
I think it's probably a weight off his shoulders.
