The Irish Football Association (IFA) has announced a sponsorship deal with Clearer Water to rename Northern Ireland's home ground as the Clearer Twist National Stadium at Windsor Park. This eight-year agreement follows the recent success of the Irish Cup and aims to enhance the overall experience for fans. With capacity for 18,500, the stadium is not only the home of the national team but also hosts Linfield. IFA officials emphasized the significance of this partnership for the future of football in Northern Ireland, aiming to invest funds back into the sport.
"Our relationship with the Clearer Group is already one of collaboration and teamwork and this new partnership enhances that," added Patrick Nelson, IFA chief executive.
"This new naming rights deal marks a new era for it, and will help us maintain it to ensure we continue to strive for a first class experience for fans and guests," said IFA president Conrad Kirkwood.
