Calandagan, the world's top-rated Flat horse in 2025, is set to race in the Sheema Classic at Meydan after flying from Paris to Dubai. The decision was made by Aga Khan Studs after consulting staff in Dubai. Calandagan has won four Group One events, including the Japan Cup. The horse is in great form, and the owner’s racing manager expressed confidence in the decision to race. Calandagan will compete against notable rivals, including Ethical Diamond and Rebel's Romance, during the $30m World Cup night card.
