Cut Copy is returning with their seventh studio album, 'Moments', set for release on September 5th. This marks their first new album since 2020, featuring the lead single 'Solid'. Frontman Dan Whitford reflects on the changes and challenges faced over the past five years, including personal and global events. 'Moments' aims to be more energetic and euphoric while maintaining their signature sound, and the band will support the album with a North American tour starting November 10th in Seattle.
Dance music is about connecting with one another after all. Euphoria bubbles away under the surface in most of the songs and I think that's the Cut Copy DNA shining through.
Since our last album release, 5 years have passed... for me making this album has been a way of processing it all.
