On Monday, 14 July at 11:42hrs police were called to reports of a man with a firearm near a store in Holloway Road, N7. Officers attended alongside the London Ambulance Service who treated a 33-year-old man who was assaulted with the firearm before taking him to hospital.
No shots were fired during the incident and no arrests have been made. The victim's injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
