The Crouch End Festival is set for a vibrant comeback from June 12 to 18, showcasing a week-long celebration of community arts. This year's festival promises to recreate its pre-pandemic experience across 20 venues, including iconic locations like Hornsey Library and St Mary's Tower. Notably, the refurbished Hornsey Town Hall will host various events, including talks and unique performances like 'Poets in a Phone Box.' With headline poet Alan Wolfson and performances ranging from children's choirs to rock bands, the festival highlights the area's rich artistic talent and community spirit.
This summer, the Crouch End Festival will return to its full pre-pandemic format, featuring a diverse lineup of over 200 performances and events across 20 venues.
'Poets in a Phone Box' is one of our most unique events... 15 years ago and has been copied by festivals all over the world,' says festival artistic director Chris Arnold.
