At the 19th Venice Architecture Biennale, Clouds Architecture Office unveiled the Mars Hydrosphere, a visionary underwater settlement designed for 10,000 inhabitants on Mars. This project proposes a city submerged in a vast water reservoir, using Martian resources and Earth-imported materials. The architects highlight the importance of water on Mars as a life-sustaining resource and its dual role in shielding inhabitants from radiation. As interplanetary migration becomes a reality, the Mars Hydrosphere seeks to redefine urban living on another planet.
