""When I was just getting off the ball, I wasn't expecting for him to cut-block me like that," said Robinson, who spent a few minutes down on the ground as he held his left knee. "Once I felt his helmet hit my knee, I kind of thought another thing, but once the trainers came out on the field and I realized I was good, it took everything off my back. I was just honestly ready to get back in the game.""
""Yeah, I mean, it's a potential risk for everybody who's getting cut, whether it's a receiver cutting a corner(back) or anything like that," Robinson said. "It's a high-risk injury when you're getting cut, so they should do something about that. But can't change it. ... I don't have control of that, so I just play the game.""
Chop Robinson experienced a knee injury scare in the fourth quarter after New England right tackle Morgan Moses attempted a cut block and struck Robinson's left knee on a third-and-26. Robinson spent minutes on the ground, then stood, walked toward the sideline and jogged back onto the field. The Dolphins defense stopped the Patriots but then two return touchdowns followed; Robinson returned to play during the final moments. Robinson called cut blocks a high-risk play and suggested that something should be done, but added he cannot change the rule and will continue to play. Robinson finished with two tackles and a sack.
