Chop Robinson returned to Miami Dolphins practice after sustaining a rib injury during joint practice with the Detroit Lions. Coach Mike McDaniel clarified precautions were taken, but the injury is not serious. In contrast, Tyreek Hill did not practice due to an oblique injury that has limited his participation for two weeks. While Hill expressed a strong desire to play, McDaniel emphasized the importance of not aggravating his condition and praised the training staff for their caution with Hill's health.
"It was a rib hit that we had to make sure we were responsible and didn't have any fractures, or anything like that," McDaniel told Sports Illustrated. "He's definitely sore, but he'll be practicing today."
"If Tyreek didn't have to answer to anybody, he would have practiced yesterday -- and I fear we might be talking about an injury that's a lot longer term," McDaniel told Sports Illustrated.
