Curacao secured qualification through two challenging CONCACAF rounds, playing 10 matches, winning seven, and finishing unbeaten. In the second round, Curacao remained unbeaten while scoring 15 goals against Barbados, Aruba, Saint Lucia, and Haiti. In the final round, Curacao drew 0-0 with Trinidad and Tobago, beat Bermuda 3-2, defeated Jamaica 2-0, drew 1-1 with Trinidad and Tobago, and continued with further results to earn the final ticket.
